Campaign Update: Nine Days Left

I’ll keep this Sunday update quick. Here’s what Team Espy has been up to during these final make-or-break days before we make history on November 3.

Our volunteers and organizers started last week with socially-distanced outdoor phone banks. Check out our Jackson Metro team hard at work. This weekend alone, we made more than 58,000 calls to voters.

We ended the week knocking some doors. I grabbed a handful of flyers and put on my mask and gloves to canvass with the team.

This weekend, we travelled to Vicksburg, Natchez, and Clarksdale for socially-distanced meet-and-greets. I met folks with energy like I’ve never seen before.

Finally, one of my favorite parts of the week by far: Having my grandbaby Ryan with me on the campaign trail to help Get Out the Vote.

It’s clear: Momentum is on our side here in Mississippi, but there is still lots of work to do. Our campaign went from a 25-point deficit to just one point down in the polls. But in order to close that gap and make history in nine days, we have to keep spreading our message to as many Mississippi voters as we can.

So I’m humbly asking: Will you help make history in Mississippi and send me to the U.S. Senate? Every dollar makes a difference right now.

Thank you, THANK YOU. We’re so close. I know we can win, but not without your help.
